About the Role

We are seeking a Director, Critical Parts Coating and Cleaning position in the EngineeringGroup based in Fremont, California. This role will be responsible for the design of critical mechanical systems in an effective and reliable way that results in highly manufacturable and serviceable components Candidates performance will be subject to peer review.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own development and updates of BKM’s and specifications of critical parts coating and cleaning
• Manage and qualify suppliers in partnership with Global Supply Chain Organization (GSCO)
• Responsible for delivering competitive on-wafer performance and cost-of-ownership
• Identify, assess, and develop mitigations to potential design risks
• Mentor Team members
• Work with vendors to evaluate components
• Demonstrated Leadership skills
• Other duties as assigned
• Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, understanding their needs and consulting with them to build quality procurement strategies aligned to business requirements.

Requirements:

• BSME and 10 years related experience. MSME/PhD preferred
• Knowledge in the design of the following components: ESC & Electrostatic Clamping, Chamber Design, and RF/Plasma
• Experience and proficiency with CAD tools such as Solidworks and other tools
• Self-starter with the ability to determine technical solutions across the entire product portfolio
• Ability manage multiple priorities and complex technical environment.
