Mavagi Enterprises is Hiring a Project Manager Near Fort Worth, TX
Job SummaryThis position will support our government contract for the Ft. Cavazos Commissary, TX. The Project Manager (PM) will lead a team of up to 55 employees in successful execution of all contract requirements. As a hands-on leader, you will ensure that all financial objectives are met monthly, quarterly and annually to include monthly target revenue goals and stocking case count rates of at least 30 per stocker per shift. You will create schedules that ensure maximum coverage of all daily responsibilities, and ensures high quality standards are being met by every team member. This position will require that the individual be on call and respond to emergency calls within one hour as well as travel for mandatory company functions. Ensure all staffing requirements are maintained per contract requirements. Bonus of up to $10,000 per year if production standards are achieved.
Job Duties
- Supervise and understand all duties performed including janitorial, material handling, stocking, and cleaning & sanitization of meat room
- Work with on-site staff and contract quality control team to maximize production standards as required by the contract
- Oversee and coordinate daily tasks and activities of a team within established budgets and goals
- Prepares, compiles, and submits daily production reports to the area manager and other company leadership as directed
- Coach and train supervisory and front-line staff to ensure proficiency in their jobs and overall team success
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule from day shift starting of 7:00am to late shift ending at 4:00am, some weekends and on call as required to support the needs of the contract and productivity goals
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Be able to obtain and maintain required industry certifications or education
- 5 years of successful management experience
- Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Experienced in Inventory and Quality Control or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to work well with others, including the ability to handle people under high-stress situations
- Possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Must be proficient in computers and Microsoft systems
- Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, enthusiastic corporate environment
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail with emphasis on problem-solving and high-quality work products
- Be able to pass a federal background check and screening requirements as required by contract and company standards
