Position Summary
The Senior Manager of Creator Programs is responsible for the competitive acquisition, win-back
and retention of our creators to the Mavely platform. In addition, this role will be responsible for
developing and implementing programs that drive creator loyalty and stickiness to our platform
through innovative community programs, such as a custom Ambassador program. Reporting to the
Marketing Director, this person will have a thumb on the pulse of creator trends, competitive offers
and value props, Mavely sentiment, and will develop initiatives and messaging to bring new creators
over from competing platforms. This role will straddle research, strategy, and execution to build
communications and programming that results in an engaged base of high-performing creators on
Mavely, as well as to build the Mavely profile to creators across the industry.
Essential Functions
Own the end-to-end strategy for targeted competitor acquisition, including:
○ Creating a playbook for acquisition strategy against key competitors
○ Owning competitive battle cards
○ Monitoring the activities of competitors, including maintaining a list of industry
events where our key competitors are sponsoring and presenting in order for Mavely
to do the same
○ Building and maintaining segmented lists of high value creators on other platforms
○ Developing and deploying targeted communications via Hubspot, with continuous
optimization
○ Conceiving and executing targeted programming for creators on competitor
platforms, such as virtual events with support from the Events Specialist
○ Define KPIs and build Hubspot dashboards & reports to track effectiveness of tactics
and optimize accordingly, with support from the Directors of Marketing and Revenue
Operations
○ Ongoing monitoring of competitor activities
○ Hold one-on-one calls with targeted creators
○ Monitor Sprinklr activity to gauge and report insights on creator sentiment of Mavely
and competing platforms, and define strategies for improving Mavely sentiment
accordingly
Kickstart a Mavely ambassador program of VIP creators to drive loyalty, advocacy, and
stickiness to the Mavely platform.
○ Define overall program objectives, identify creator profile targets and selection
criteria for who we want to include in the program.
○ Develop key program benefits and value proposition for creators to attract them to
the program, such as special promotions, exclusive campaign access, member-only
contests, or other creator incentives.
○ Develop clear outreach and communication strategy to keep program participants
engaged and aligned with the overall program mission and objectives.
○ Establish a rewards and recognition system to reward creators for their performance
and contribution to the program.
○ Establish channels for program participants to build a relationship with each other,
share best practices, and drive growth for one another, through forums, online, or
in-person events.
○ Implement a system to drive continuous feedback from participants. Develop KPIs to
track and measure the program effectiveness, reporting of the results and strategies
to iterate and evolve program to drive further growth and participation.
○ Build and manage a list of Mavely creators for ongoing Creator Spotlight series and
PR pitches
Retention and Win-Back
○ Monitor Mavely creator trends to maintain a list of high-value creators at risk of
lapsing from the platform
○ Build a communications strategy and adapt existing brand messaging to target
existing Mavely creators who are at risk of abandoning the platform
○ Pitch, build, and support marketing initiatives aimed at creator (re)activation, based
on feedback from lapsed / lapsing Mavely creators
○ Hold one-on-one calls with targeted creators
○ Monitor Sprinklr activity to gauge and report insights on creator sentiment of Mavely
and competing platforms, and define strategies for improving Mavely sentiment
accordingly
