Our client is a Quant driven hedge fund and is looking to hire an exceptional Software Developer to their electronic trading strategies team.

The team consists of around 15 software engineers, quants and quant traders who collectively develop trading systems, trading strategies and algorithms that generate automated trading signals, that capture highly profitable short-term investment opportunities in the global financial markets.

This is one of the most experienced and profitable US based systematic trading teams.

As one of the Software Developers in the team, you will enjoy a varied role.

This will include:

Working together with senior quantitative traders and quantitative researchers to implement new trading strategies.

Enhance and optimize existing trading algorithms and components of the existing best-in-class trading system.

Research & innovate new greenfield projects that drive the profitability and size of the team’s business.

Skills:

> Strong academic background in Computer Science or related field from a top tier school.

> Expert programming skills in and understanding in one or more of C , Java and or Python.

> 5 years of industrial C , Java or Python experience from any industry.

> Finance industry experience is welcome but not required.

> Elite proficiency in OOP, multithreaded programming & high performance computing.
