Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Big Data solutions using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL databases.
• Utilize Drools to implement complex business rules and decision logic into our data processing pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Architect scalable and reliable data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and analysis of large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Optimize performance and efficiency of Big Data applications and workflows.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Big Data technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Big Data Engineer with a focus on building scalable data processing solutions.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data frameworks and tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of Drools for business rule management and complex event processing.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Big Data technologies (e.g., Cloudera, Hortonworks, Databricks).
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and techniques.
• Previous experience in industries such as Banking is plus.
