Welcome to The Maverick Hotel, A Choice Property, basecamp for adventure in Eugene, Oregon. Located in the heart of Duck Country, we are central to everything the Willamette Valley has to offer and passionate about the great outdoors. Our Adventure Guides host travelers from around the world, readying them for every kind adventure—from University of Oregon sporting events to McKenzie River fishing guided tours. It’s our Adventure Guide’s job to welcome guests with a smile and ensure a high-level of care from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service and excel in a fast-paced environment. Local knowledge is a plus, as we pride ourselves in directing our guests to tasty craft breweries, hidden waterfalls, live music, and more.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Requirements:
• Able to work overnight hours
• Great people skills
• Operate hotel overnight providing services to guests and completing prep work for next day
• Ability to problem solve challenges and shift priorities quickly
• Desires to help customers with prompt, friendly service
• Excellent communication
• Demonstrate attention to detail
• Use Choice Advantage for guest needs

Qualifications:

• Entry level position – training provided onsite.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull required load approx. 30 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail required.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal directions.
• Must have effective communication skills and must be able to work with a variety of people.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.95 per hour
