**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food production, with a strong mechanical background.

**Duties:**

• Work on a food production manufacturing line.
• Set up and operate food production machinery according to specifications and production schedules.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect products for quality and consistency, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks and record findings.
• Report any deviations from quality standards to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure food safety and equipment longevity.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Participate in safety training and drills as required.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and maintenance activities.
• Complete all required documentation, such as batch records and quality control logs, accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and any issues.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other production staff to achieve production goals and ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in training new operators and sharing best practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or certification in machine operation or maintenance preferred.
• Experience:
• Previous experience as a machine operator in a food production environment preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety and quality standards, such as HACCP and GMP, is a plus.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions typical of a food production environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.08 - $17.69 per hour
