Max Casino is seeking a skilled and vigilant Event Security team member. This position is part-time. The Event Security team member must be available to work from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., on Friday and Saturday. This position is pivotal in maintaining the casino floor's overall safety and security. The Security team member will be responsible for handling security issues, resolving conflicts, assisting patrons, patrolling parking lots, and the outside perimeter of the property. This role requires the ability to work effectively under pressure. The Event Security Officer will cover all Max Casino presentations, shows, concerts, and nightclub events on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Pay: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Security Duties:

• Must be a minimum age of 21 years or older.
• Monitor the casino floor to ensure the safety and security of patrons and staff.
• Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, resolving conflicts and maintaining order.
• Conduct regular patrols of the casino floor, identifying and addressing any security risks or breaches.
• Collaborate with other security team members and law enforcement agencies as needed.
• Assist with the enforcement of casino policies and procedures, including age restrictions and gaming regulations.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of casino operations, including gaming regulations and security protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patrons and staff.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Must be registered with or have the ability to obtain a license from the Gaming Control Board.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
