Role Description

This is a Travel Nurse position working in Private Duty Nursing. The Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients in a 1:1 setting in the comfort of their homes here in the beautiful state of Alaska! Some day-to-day tasks will include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining accurate patient records. This is an on-site role and requires the Travel Nurse to be wiloign to come to Anchorage, AK for a 13 week assignment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Experience in providing skilled nursing care
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing patient needs and environments
• Willingness to travel and work in different healthcare settings
• BLS certification
• Experience in home healthcare or travel nursing is a plus
• Additional certifications and specialties are beneficial
