Maximum Services is Hiring a General Manager Near Kremmling, CO

Maximum Services Inc. is seeking a General Manager to join our team to oversee all staff, budgets and operations of our Civil Infrastructure Construction business.
General Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive to ensure the success of the business.
Responsibilities:
  • Reviews cost reports, time sheets, equipment records, engineering reports and project construction schedules to maintain overall schedules and assure work is completed on time.
  • Ensures that project/department milestones and goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
  • Maintains relationships with team members, clients and subcontractors.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations.
  • Verify that safety (OSHA) and environmental standards are the highest of priorities and are being adhered to.
  • Develop, track, update, forecast and modify project schedules and budgets throughout all phases of all projects.
  • Design strategy and set goals for growth.
  • Set policies and procedures.
  • Oversee recruitment and training of employees.
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
  • Ensure quality control, health and safety policies are strictly observed.
  • Direct the employee assessment process.
  • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
  • Prepare regular reports for the ownership.
  • Meet/exceed customer expectations and needs.
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
  • Ensure contractual conditions of performance are met.
  • Review and approve all invoices and change orders associated with the project.
  • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
  • Provide solutions to issues. 
Requirements and skills:
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role.
  • 10 years of experience in civil construction and construction management.
  • 5 years’ experience in planning and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.).
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • BSc/BA in Business or equivalent practical experience, construction management experience desired.
Expected Starting Pay Range:
  • $125 - $150K per year DOE benefits, bonus & company vehicle.
