Maxton Group, Inc. is Hiring a Quality Control Technician, 2nd Shift Near Ormond Beach, FL

Primary role of a quality technician is to verify that all products are manufactured are within internal tolerances and that our customers receive the highest quality products. Technicians are expected to achieve this by completing inspections, document findings, and alert management of discovered nonconformities. The technician will be trained regarding customer requirements, standard procedures, and will be expected to collaborate with production to achieve planned objectives. This role will be production-based and work actively in production while completing essential quality duties.

Essential Duties:

● Ensure product dimensions are within specified tolerances and that defined criteria are maintained.

● Acceptance testing and ensuring products are within determined tolerances within different production cycles.

● Inspect incoming products to ensure they meet internal requirements.

● Production-related processes as needed.

● Containment of nonconforming products.

● Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

● A High school diploma or equivalent.

● 1-2 years of manufacturing and/or quality experience a plus.

Computer Skills:

● Must be competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Other Skills and Requirements:

● Good written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to multi-task and make use of time management.

● Ability to work independently.

● Ability to work and communicate cohesively with both management and production associates.

● Must be able to safely lift 20 lbs. Involves a lot of walking or standing.
