May Trucking Company has immediate openings for entry level to experienced Fleet Diesel Technicians at our Lebanon, TN location. These positions are day shift Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm.

Qualifications:

• Minimum eighteen (18) years of age
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems
• Mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn and/or have experience performing Class 8 truck or trailer repairs and maintenance
• Willing attitude to use or learn diagnostic software used on vehicles
• Ability to work efficiently with a team or independently
• Be capable of maintaining regular and punctual attendance
• Carrier reefer experience a plus

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment safe, reliable, and within DOT compliance
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Class 8 truck and trailer systems and components
• Follow troubleshooting steps provided by manufacturer repair manuals and other resources
• Properly document work using Fleet maintenance software
• Communicate effectively with a customer service mindset
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
