Responsibilities

• Help build the initial production lines for manufacturing of Maybell’s dilution refrigerators
• Develop and improve manufacturing and assembly processes
• Implement manufacturing quality and organizational systems
• Write work instructions and production documentation
• Work closely with a team of technicians and perform hands on assembly and fabrication of complex equipment
• Design and build manufacturing jigs and equipment to improve quality and throughput of production
• Collaborate with external vendors to outsource manufacturing of components and assemblies
• Collaborate with engineering to improve system design and associated production processes
• Build and manage aggressive production schedules

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering or equivalent field
• 3-10 years working experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills
• Exceptional hands-on assembly and fabrication skills
• Strong CAD & mechanical design skills
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills
• Self-starter with ability to drive results independently
• Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong safety-oriented mindset

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in any of the following areas: vacuum systems, leak checking, thermal systems, brazing, valves, pumps, pneumatics
• Experience managing a quality system
• Machine shop and fabrication skills

Base salary $80,000/yr - $110,000/yr
