Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical office procedures and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Verify insurance information and process payments
- Coordinate with medical staff for patient care and scheduling
- Assist with urgent care patients and prioritize appointments accordingly

Requirements:

- Proven experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Proficiency with medical scheduling software such as Epic or Eaglesoft
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients in a compassionate manner
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling multiple lines efficiently
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
