Summary:

The Project Assistant will be an integral part of the litigation team in the Huntsville office. The duties include, but are not limited to, client correspondence, time entry, expenses, index and docketing, scanning and compiling materials for team.

Essential Job Functions:

• Prepare draft correspondence
• File, organize, index, and scan legal documents
• Time entry and expenses
• Assist in the preparation of documents
• Assist in calendaring and tracking deadlines
• Assist in compiling materials for depositions and/or trial

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Excellent organizational skills
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Customer service attitude

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• In office position
• Proven office work or customer service experience
• High school degree

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
• Normal office environment; no unusual physical demands.
