ResponsibilitiesThe CGMP Manufacturing Manager position will oversee, and contribute to, the manufacture of biological products in a FDA-regulated, CGMP manufacturing operation. The primary responsibilities for this position will be to supervise all aspects of manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in a biomedical related field (e.g. biology, laboratory medicine, etc.) and a minimum of five years relevant experience in process development or manufacturing science with supervisory responsibilities including experience in cell culture, viral vectors and analytical methods including cytometry, LC, and molecular biology based analytical methods OR a Bachelors degree in a biomedical related field (e.g. biology, laboratory medicine, etc.) and a minimum of seven years relevant experience in process development or manufacturing science with supervisory responsibilities including experience in cell culture, viral vectors and analytical methods including cytometry, LC, and molecular biology based analytical methods.
  • Five years or more experience managing a multi-project scientific unit, with staff of differing professional levels and experience.
  • Work under deadline pressure.
  • Knowledge of federal regulations CRF210, 211 as pertains to CGMP, ISO9000 and other regulatory guidelines pertinent to manufacturing of biologics under CGMP.
  • Experience in biotech research or a manufacturing environment, developing and implementing manufacturing processes and is assay development.
