ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibilities of this position include: Evaluating and treating inpatient and outpatient adults with communication disorders; participation as a member of an interdisciplinary team in a hospital-based rehabilitation unit and in other areas of the MMC campus; involvement in an outpatient group treatment program for adults with brain injury; evaluation and treatment of children with communication impairments; evaluation and treatment of dysphagia; establishing augmentative/alternative communication systems for patients as part of an assistive technology team; participating in staff/division meetings; and involvement in designated committees/special interest groups/tasks forces.
QualificationsMS or MA degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Experience evaluating and treating adults with neurogenic communication impairments
License Or CertificationCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Licensed by the State of Minnesota Department of Health in Speech-Language Pathology

Compensation Detail$34.06 - $51.11 / hour

Schedule DetailsWould prefer availability of at least 2 days a month to establish and maintain competency and comfort levels.
