As a Medical Assistant guided by the Clinic Administrator, your role involves providing administrative support to facilitate efficient operations within the medical facility. You'll assist Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and patients with tasks related to patient care coordination, organization, and communication. The objective is to carry out all tasks with precision, maintaining high standards of quality, and meeting deadlines promptly. Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm Responsibilities
Conduct patient interviews and document their basic medical histories.
Triage patients effectively based on urgency and scheduling needs.
Prepare patients for physical examinations following company protocols, ensuring minimal to no errors.
Perform DOT, Basic, and Respirator exams.
Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms and medical instruments.
Organize and schedule patient appointments.
Accurately update and file medical records and insurance reports.
Coordinate hospital admissions and laboratory services.
Communicate with patients and accurately type up their charts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have current CPR certification or obtain it within 30 days of the start date.
Strong organizational and planning abilities.
Socially perceptive and service oriented.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual is a plus.
