General Overview:
Defines and evaluates Missile Defense System Trade capability space envelope, architectural performance metrics and other high-level performance metrics as applicable.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Coordinate and perform Missile Defense Architecture Trade Studies, analyzing candidate architecture options for cost, performance and schedule and down-selecting options based on results. Prepare and deliver briefings and supporting data in support of an Architecture Requirements Package (ARP).
• Assist with identifying and defining missile defense architecture gaps, challenges, needs, opportunities, and potential system mitigations
• Support processes and procedures development of efforts to providing architecture solutions in support of closure of Missile Defense System capability gaps.
• Coordinate with FFRDC and UARC partners on results and data for architecture trade studies through working group discussions. Document findings, assumptions, and tools used in trade study efforts.
• Provide regular input in support of government leadership to reports and weekly charts involving task status, action item tracking, risks, and schedule.
What Required Skills You Bring:
• Minimum of 7 years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/
project
• Bachelor's degree (STEM field)
• Active Secret clearance
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Applications, especially PowerPoint
• Able to work independently and/or lead teams to analyze and resolve problems
Preferred Skills (Desired but not required):
• Develop and review technical memorandum, white papers, and briefings supporting findings and conclusions of analyses
• Works independently, applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Recruiting Keywords:
• Working knowledge of MDA organizational structure
• Working knowledge of Missile Defense System architecture and concepts
• Model-Based Systems Engineering (MDSE) experience
• Working knowledge of CAMEO and/or Benchmark modeling systems or other MBSE software
