Job Title: Facilities Manager

DESCRIPTION:
The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and smooth operation of MC Machinery Systems’ facilities. The position will oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including day-to-day maintenance work, building upkeep such as cleaning, landscaping and snow removal for all company locations in multiple states, and adherence of safety protocols. Additionally, the Facilities Manager will lead our Safety Committee, ensuring compliance with company and OSHA standards.

Job operates mainly indoors, but exposed to changing weather conditions, such as extreme hot or cold, rain, sun, wind, etc. This job also works near moving mechanical parts and the noise level is moderate to loud. Ability to operate a motor vehicle and possession of a valid driver’s license is required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This job requires very frequent bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, standing, speaking and hearing and frequent kneeling. Repetitive use of the hands, squeezing, keyboarding and crouching. Requires frequent lifting and carrying of 1-10 pounds, recurrent lifting of 11-20 pounds and occasional lifting and carrying of 21-50 or more pounds. Also requires constant pushing and pulling of 1-50 pounds and infrequent pushing and pulling of over 50 pounds with the aid of handcarts or other wheeled devices. Good visual and color acuity are a must to perform this job.
