MC Recruiting is Hiring a Litigation Associate Near Marin County, CA

Our client, widely regarded as one of the top small-sized personal injury and medical malpractice firms in the Bay Area, is seeking an attorney to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to build a career working for a progressive-minded law firm and get immediate hands-on trial experience. You will contribute to the long-term success and growth of the firm and your own career growth will be supported.

Day to day:

  • Oversee your own personal injury cases with the support of the firm’s paralegals and office manager.
  • Handle depositions, written discovery and any pre-trial motion work, working the cases up from intake to settlement discussions and/or trial.
  • Support other attorneys at the firm by contributing to legal research, demand letters, brief writing, record review, etc.

Requirements and preferences:

  • Active member of the State Bar of California
  • 3 years of personal injury and/or medical malpractice litigation experience on either plaintiff or defense side.
  • Experience arguing law and motion and taking depositions
  • Trial experience and the ability to speak a second language is a big plus.
  • Note the Firm will consider exceptionally qualified recent law school graduates with a strong academic and work record, and an authentic interest in this area of practice.

Salary range is 120,000-180,000 (DOE), excellent benefits.
