Superintendent

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to oversee and manage our golf course operations. The golf course superintendent is entrusted with the maintenance and operation of all properties owned and operated by McAlester country Club, these areas include, but are limited to the MCC golf course and associated grounds.

Responsibilities:
- Supervising the maintenance of the golf course.
-Supervising the maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Rendering professional advice, opinions, assistance and services to the facility's board of directors or managing body as required.
-Participating in all long-range planning meetings.
- Coordinates operations with the club manager and golf professional. The golf course superintendent assumes responsibility for managing and maintaining golf course properties.

Qualifications:
- Requires knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass management practices; a working knowledge of golf facility principles, practices and methods; and through understanding of the rules and strategies of the game of golf.
- Requires excellent oral and written communication.
- Requires knowledge of current federal, provincial and local laws and regulations affecting the management of golf course operations (Including but not limited to, employment, safety and environmental standards, laws and regulations).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
