We are HIRING at McAuley Family Chiropractic, we are are looking for a vibrant, hospitable and outgoing individual to join our team as a front desk receptionist. Please read this ad carefully and complete all of the Pre-Screening Questions
McAuley Family Chiropractic is a small, family owned business in Federal Way, WA. We serve individuals of all ages, from infants to geriatric population. We are a fast paced clinic looking to grow and serve the community with exceptional care. Health is our business and providing an environment where you can be challenged and have fun is our goal. We strive to provide excellent care to our patients with compassion and excellent customer service.
Essential Job Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Assisting patients with filling any and all forms
- Attend weekly office meeting
- Answering phones
- Collecting payments
- Scheduling patients
- Filing and/or scanning patient charts
- Verify patient insurance information/benefits
- Data entry and perform administrative tasks as needed
- Light janitorial duties (sweeping/dusting on occasion)
Experience:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is encouraged
- Proficient in using phone systems and office equipment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling information
Applicants should be able to effectively communicate with patients and enjoy working in a team setting. We are seeking an individual who is friendly, goal/task oriented, dependable, and willing to learn and grow into a long term career.
We are offering a position to fill the following hours:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am-12pm and 3pm-6pm
Tuesday 9 AM- 12:30 PM & 3 pm-7pm
Thursday 4pm-7pm
Occasional Saturdays 9am-11am
There will be an initial 60-90 day training period paid at $16 - 19/hour (DOE). After training is complete, pay will increase according to job performance. After 6 months of total employment, you will receive an additional increase in pay. Raises and bonuses can be given throughout the year based on achieving performance goals!
As we are willing to train the right person, prior experience is not necessary but encouraged. Prior billing experience and bilingual is a plus, with additional hours and/or pay possible for these added skills.
