Job Description Journeyman Configuration Manager providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB). The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Digital (AFPEO/HB) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Digital portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies. AFLCMC/PEO Digital Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA with geographically separated operating units CONUS and OCONUS. The Program Scheduler is responsible for providing Program Scheduler support to plan, build, coordinate, and manage the IMS. You will be responsible for the following:
Provide system administration of network, web, and/or communication systems, including Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems, involving network security
Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions
Perform daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client/server, or cloud based
Optimize system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis and planning
Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems
Requirements Required Qualifications
3 years of directly related experience
Proficient understanding of system administration of network, web, and/or communication systems
