Job Summary:
MCCA, Inc. is the premier Behavioral Health provider of substance abuse prevention and treatment services in the greater Danbury area. We are seeking a skilled IT Support professional to join our team. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees. You will troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to ensure smooth operations.
Major Responsibilities:
Serve as the first contact with clinical and administrative staff needing technical assistance via the phone or email, responding in a polite and timely manner to service issues and requests.
Provide technical support across the company both in person and remotely. Setting up accounts for new users; installing and configuring computer hardware & software systems, networks, printers, and scanners. Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
Configure, monitor, maintain, and manage applications, such as Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, Bitdefender, various backup platforms, printers and networking devices. Familiarity with Windows, Mac operating systems and iOS and Android, as well as common productivity and collaboration tools.
Review, validate, and deploy software updates during applications rollout to the production environment. Assist in the evaluation and testing new technology and recommend hardware, software, and application upgrades to assure the availability, continuity, and security of data across all locations and service programs.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Electronic Health Record (EHR) support, training and troubleshooting. Understanding of regulations affecting IT operations, including HIPAA, such as privacy, security and data protection regulations, and application of best practices to remain compliant.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in technical support, with a strong knowledge of technical support principles and methodologies.
