 NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION DETAILER/CLEANER/JANITORJOB TITLE:

• New Construction Detail/Cleaner/Janitor

GENERAL:

• Fortis Homes is a privately owned and production-minded home builder, seeking a full-time, hourly new construction cleaner experienced in interior and exterior residential construction projects. This position includes benefits and paid time off. Fortis Homes and its affiliated entities are growing rapidly and need hard-working, energetic candidates looking for professional growth and challenging opportunities. The communities are located in Port Aransas and just outside of Rockport. Reliable transportation to both communities is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Essential duties and responsibilities are, but are not limited to:
• Use of appropriate tools of the trade are required.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the job sites.
• Must be able to move, lift, and carry objects weighing approximately 30 pounds without assistance.
• Ladder use will be necessary to clean windows, inside and out.
• Dusting and washing all surfaces to their brand-new state.
• Removing stickers from windows and appliances.
• Hauling away the last of the construction debris and sweeping homes during stages of construction.
• Must be willing to work in either community as needed.
• Occasionally, projects must be completed with short notice and in extreme time constraints.
• Must be capable of working in physically demanding environments indoors and outdoors.
• Must be willing and able to operate construction and hand tools in a safe, proper manner.
• Knowledge of multiple construction disciplines a plus.
• Ability to work with a high level of quality is a must.
• Must be dependable with a personal commitment to team environment, safety, customer satisfaction and total quality management.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and be able to pass a drug screen.
