McConnell, Rothman & Co., P.C. is now hiring! We are a local growing CPA firm looking to hire a motivated and experienced Certified Public Accountant who is interested in developing and maintaining client relationships in addition to preparing a diverse set of tax returns across a broad spectrum of industries. An individual with a master’s in taxation is preferred.

The right applicant should be able to work independently or in a group setting. Our firm is primarily interested in finding a candidate who is outgoing and enjoys working face to face with clients. An ideal candidate would be someone who envisions themselves as a driving force within the firm. We practice a healthy work–life balance. Our compensation package is highly competitive.

Education and Work Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (master’s degree preferred)
  • CPA License required.Primarily focused on reviewing and preparing Individual, Partnership, and Corporate Tax Returns.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Tax prep and planning for S-Corps, partnerships, and individuals - minimum 3 years’ experience.
  • Motivated
  • Self-sufficient
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Ultra Tax, Practice, QuickBooks, and Office Tools
