MCD Global Health is Hiring a Telehealth and eLearning Expansion (TELE) Project Coordinator Near Maine, ME

MCD Global Health is a nonprofit global health organization recognized in the United States and around the world as a leader, innovator, and trusted partner. 

We are looking to bring on board a Project Coordinator for Telehealth and eLearning Expansion, as we continue to grow our scope and impact in these key focus areas. This position will work closely with our Telehealth and Project ECHO teams to help plan and implement strategic initiatives focused on leveraging technology to strengthen health systems, and improve health access and outcomes, particularly in rural and underserved communities.

The successful candidate is a highly- motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team, along with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong communication, networking, and technology skills are essential. This role requires the ability to handle multiple projects, responsibilities, and deadlines effectively, as well as the ability to use and incorporate evidence-based resources into program and training design.

Overview:

As the Project Coordinator for Telehealth and eLearning Expansion (TELE Project Coordinator) you will work closely with U.S. Programs Telehealth and Project ECHO teams to plan and implement various programmatic activities, and in collaboration with state-wide and regional partners, to achieve goals outlined in project work plans. The TELE Project Coordinator will participate in regular project team meetings and external partner meetings to help achieve work plan deliverables. Will also assist with MCD Project ECHO and eLearning business development opportunities as appropriate.

Requirements: 

· Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to develop plain language messages about complex information

· Knowledge of the methods and techniques of disseminating health education information effectively

· Skilled in writing and developing digital content for various platforms

· Able to direct and manage webpage development and print production projects implemented by outside contractors

· Skilled in using Microsoft Office programs

· Able to give presentations about basic program information and to conduct trainings for a variety of audiences

· Able to work on multiple projects consecutively while maintaining accuracy, paying attention to detail, and meeting project deadlines

· Able to function effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the TELE Project Coordinator will include, but are not limited to:

· Assists Project ECHO team with day-to-day operations of current ECHO programming, including responding to emails, returning phone calls, answering incoming calls to support key stakeholders, partners, participants, and subject matter experts.

· Supports delivery of real-time, virtual trainings, including Project ECHO® sessions.

· Assists with design of curriculum and audiovisual components for eLearning programs using evidence-based practices.

· Researches and responds to general telehealth technical assistance (TA) requests as assigned, using evidence-based resources.

· Assists with specific components of in-depth TA requests as requested.

· Assists the Telehealth team with development of relevant training and resources as identified by partners and constituents.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills to manage diverse responsibilities, proven experience in community building and outreach, strong collaboration skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or Health Sciences, Health Education, one of the Behavioral Sciences, Public Administration, or Education and three (3) years’ experience in health program planning, development, implementation, and evaluation or the equivalent of a seven (7) year combination of education, training, and experience is required.

This position is a full-time grant-funded position physically based in Maine, and with opportunity to work remotely. The salary band range for this position type is $55,000-$65,000.
