McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Phlebotomist for its Ames Lab department. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: collecting and receiving specimens to be tested. Prepares and dispatches specimens for testing. Performs receptionist duties, collects blood samples by venipuncture, heel stick and finger stick, obtains urine and other specimens from patients, performs receptionist and other clerical duties as needed, stocks and maintains supplies in work areas, helps to keep work area clean, attends required meetings and participates on committee as requested, performs related work as required. Position comes with competitive clinic pay and valuable benefits package
Education
Formal training and/or experience in phlebotomy required
Certification/License
Days: Monday - Friday. Saturday rotation
Hours: M-F 8:30 - 5:30 PM. Saturday rotation 8:00 AM - Noon
