Cabin Cleaners (Fleet) are key members of the McGee team and perform functions necessary to provide passenger service support and to turn aircraft on-time, with a focus on safety and service. KEY SKILLS Promote and maintain a culture of safety at all times Maintain a high level of a focus and curiosity in a fast-paced and changing environment Execute tasks with safety and compliance at the forefront at all times and report potential hazards and threats Act in accordance with the McGee's values of Safety, Service, Integrity, Mutual Respect, Accountability, and Pride at all times and portray a positive image in this customer-facing role Flexibility and willingness to perform additional duties as assigned JOB FUNCTIONS (MAY VARY ACCORDING TO LOCATION Below the Wing aircraft servicing Perform fleet functions and other servicing (e.g., cabin and overnight cleaning, lavatory, water) Maintain work areas and ensure the proper care of equipment Operate ramp equipment and other equipment Perform facility cleaning and janitorial services Work outdoors with exposure to the elements and high noise levels for eight hours or more per work day. QUALIFICATIONS All Locations and Assignments Must demonstrate safe work habits at all times Ability to work at a constant and quick pace for up to two consecutive hours Flexibility to work varied shifts; weekends and holidays Reliable and good attendance and punctuality Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to get along with others Ability to perform work according to set procedures Ability to anticipate needs of others in a fast-paced environment Ability to understand and interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen and fingerprinting required by specific work assignment High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must be at least 18 years of age Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Ability to give/receive oral instructions in English Locations/Positions for Below the Wing Assignments Knowledge of operation of industrial equipment and previous experience preferred as required by location Ability to perform basic mathematical functions Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis ADDITIONAL: GENERAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS SUMMARY This position requires significant physical agility and physical mobility. Must comfortably, frequently, continuously and within short timelines: lift, carry, and move heavy items; work in cramped or high places; climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop for extended periods of time; carry heavy items up and down stairs; push/pull loaded and empty carts; and stand for extended periods.
