McGill Environmental Systems, a national leader in sustainability through composting, organics recycling and soils manufacturing, is currently seeking a Plant Manager to join our team.
Top accountabilities and overall objectives:
• Schedule daily plant operations to meet daily objectives.
• Supervise production employees.
• Oversee maintenance and servicing of equipment.
• Administers company environmental, health and safety policies.
• Ensures and maintains compliance with all regulatory agencies and permits.
• Maintains control of expenses and P&L responsibility of site.
• Ensures quality product is produced and delivered on-time to customers.
• Builds and maintains customer, contractor, vendor and public relations.
• Hire, train, supervise, and develop production employees.
Key performance and qualifications required:
• 3 years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bulk materials / heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field, or combination of education and experience.
• Proven leadership and coaching ability.
• Mechanically savvy
• Solid computer literacy to include Microsoft office suite.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
