You will operate in an environment that requires excellent problem-solving skills and exceptional team collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills. You will individually focus on applying creative and analytical approaches to any challenge, leveraging both your team's input and that of the user. You will be in constant collaboration with UX and Engineering.

Your mission will be to advance learning outcomes for students and teachers by delivering market-leading McGraw-Hill content and learning tools wherever learning is happening. You will do this by finding and delivering on opportunities to integrate our platforms with 3rd party learning platforms where it matters most, create seamless experiences, and create a unified and scalable integrations platform that makes it easy for McGraw-Hill to meet students and teachers where they are at. This is an associate role reporting directly to the Sr. Technical Product Manager of Integrations.

This is a remote position open to applicants residing and authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

  • Communicate with technical teams and business stakeholders, including managing expectations, scope, and prioritization of work.
  • Partner with engineering, product owners, user experience, project management, and QA to investigate, document, and maintain business and technical processes.
  • Document competitive landscape, release notes, workflows, processes, case studies, training materials, and technical alternatives for specific epics or feature sets.
  • Work with Product Owners to align your product vision and strategy to company objectives.
  • Get your hands dirty - doing any job on the team necessary to build and ship a successful product.

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of experience in agile software product development, particularly in platform and applications development and/or website design and development.
  • Experience with EdTech and/or LMS (Canvas, Schoology, Blackboard, Google Classroom) and IMS standards experience (LTI) is highly preferred.
  • Experience with user story writing, use case diagram development, wireframe and design analysis, business/ecommerce/SaaS application analysis, and backlog management.

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational communication skills; must be able to communicate with technical teams and business stakeholders, as well as clearly document software for these audiences.
  • Demonstrated people skills; must be able to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities and skill sets, remote teams in various time zones, and enjoy constructive conflict.
  • Jira and Confluence experience
  • Technical prowess - you don't need to code, but you shouldn't be afraid of diving into technical issues.
  • An appreciation and passion for well-designed solutions
  • Self-motivation and a strong desire to make an impact at McGraw-Hill.
  • Critical feedback skills (giving/receiving) that help level up solutions.
