Quality Control Technician 1 – Night Shift

What this job is all about:
The Quality Control Technician 1 – Night Shift is responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, ingredients, in-process sauce, finished sauce, and industrial ingredients by performing laboratory tests, compiling records, analyzing data, and performing Quality Control checks throughout all stages and areas of production and storage.
In this job, you’ll do things like:
- Performs laboratory tests of incoming material, in-process sauce, finished sauce, and industrial ingredients to determine physical or chemical properties to ensure compliance with company and, governmental, and agency standards.
- Collects samples that are requested to be shipped.
- Maintains accurate recordkeeping of analysis data.
- Sets up, operates, and calibrates laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Records results of tests, organizes data, performs basic computations, and prepares reports and analyses using standard procedures and guidelines.
- Organizes, cleans, sterilizes, and maintains laboratory equipment.
- Performs blending and bottling floor checks to ensure control on non-conforming products.
- Communicates quality or compliance concerns with urgency to Operations management.
- Ensures product and process compliance to company standards and specifications.
- Monitors and documents process controls to ensure product quality and food safety standards are within control limits and plant standards.
- Identifies areas for quality control improvement.
