Must-haves to apply for this job:
- 10 years’ of progressive HR experience
- 5 years’ experience managing HR professionals
- Demonstrated proficiency with an HRIS
- Experience in benefits program administration
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively and resolve complex employee relations issues
- Strong understanding of state and federal employment related laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of an organization and to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
In this job, you’ll do things like:
- Oversee and manage comprehensive employee benefits programs, including payroll, health insurance, retirement plans, and other wellness initiatives.
- Partner with department leaders to manage employee relations, including addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and conducting disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
- Oversee the talent recruitment and selection process for both hourly and salary roles and coordinate with external staffing agencies.
- Manage the annual department budget, identifying opportunities to optimize spending in alignment with company strategy and objectives.
- Develop and implement people metrics to regularly review and analyze workforce trends, guide benefit design, and inform talent acquisition strategies.
- Create strategic alignment between HR functions and the business needs of a growing company built on more than 150 years of excellence!

- Experience in Manufacturing Industry
- MBA or MS – Human Resources or related field
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification
