ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for repairs and adjustments, which may include such tasks as replacing glass or installing items such as window shades, blinds, muntin’s, and roll screens.
• Problem-solving and diagnosing difficult issues in the field.
• Generates and updates all required service-related documentation following a service visit so that additional service calls can be scheduled, if necessary, and billing or credit can be completed.
• Provides customers with helpful information on the care, operation, and maintenance of their Pella products.
• Responsible for preparation and clean-up of the work area with careful attention to courtesy toward the homeowner's belongings and surroundings.
• Maintains assigned Service vehicle and coordinates with Manager and Service Team as needed on vehicle maintenance requirements.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and comply with the company Fleet Safety Policy.
• A high degree of reliability, accountability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are critical attributes for this position.
• Additional duties as specified by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior knowledge of residential construction, construction experience is a plus
• Prior experience with using hand tools.
• Must be able to work from ladders and scaffolding
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Must be a team player and exhibit a strong desire to learn and promote self-growth.
• Excellent verbal and written skills are required as well as customer service skills.
• Time Management skills

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

• 1-2 years of related education/ experience, particularly in building materials or construction
• High School graduate required.
• Computer experience preferred.

• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
• 8- 9-hour days
