The Company: McKinley is a highly respected child welfare organization, conveniently located in the beautiful city of San Dimas, with 4 additional locations throughout Southern California. McKinley is nationally accredited, licensed by the California Department of Social Services, and is certified by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. McKinleys comprehensive array of programs and services which touch nearly 1,500 lives annually include short term residential treatment program (STRTP), Foster Care, Adoptions, Mental Health Services and Special Education. McKinley is known for the great care we take with clients and employees alike.
The Position: The role of the clinician focuses on the provision of mental health treatment and prevention services to referred and assigned clients and their families by the particular school and meet appropriate criteria. These individuals are experiencing behavioral and/or mental health issues in the school, home, and community settings and have been brought to the attention primarily by school personnel. The clinician serves as a clinical advocate for clients (and their families) and makes recommendations for mental health support services needed, while actively working collaboratively with school personnel.

Compensation and Benefits:
The pay range were offering is $72,000 annually.

McKinley Children's Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been caring for society's most vulnerable children since 1900. McKinley brings a wide spectrum of healing, teaching and skill development to children and families who have been victims of abuse, neglect, and abandonment and trauma, through their residential treatment center, non-public school, foster and adoption services, and community mental health services programs. McKinley welcomes infants, children, adolescents and young adults and their families, in need of treatment and services. The Centers comprehensive counseli...ng and education programs provides the much support and treatment needed to recover from painful pasts in order to build a positive future. Each childs and familys road to recovery is different, but children who are in McKinleys residential treatment program may remain between six to 12 months with longer time in treatment in McKinleys other treatment programs. The goal of each of McKinleys treatment programs is for the children and their families to complete these programs and successfully transition to a more productive and successful family and community life.
