SUMMARY :

Under the direction of the Manager / Regional Director, Supervisor Cash Posting, plans, directs, evaluates, controls, and organizes the staff and functions of the Revenue Cycle Department.

Leads, plans and directs staff.

Communicates effectively and often with leadership and staff.

Must be able to understand, explain, calculate, analyze and interpret the information reviewed daily.

Position Specific Expectations :

Billing, Follow-Up, Cash Posting, Customer Service, Clerk / Scanning, Denials and Underpayments are identified in the specific assignment sheet for a Supervisor.

Qualifications : Minimum :

Minimum :

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of Associate Degree and relevant experience may be acceptable.
• Three years of patient accounting or patient access experience.
• Experience in health care setting.
• One year leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and billing systems / software.
