McLaren Health Care is Hiring a Supervisor Provider Compensation Near Flint, MI
Supervises and coordinates the day-to-day functions of the Provider Compensation team. Work closely with the Director of Provider Compensation to set daily priorities, monitor, and motivate the team’s performance. Provides excellence in customer service going above expectations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the supervision of daily duties of employees engaged in activities related to the Provider Compensation Department.
- Responsible for reviewing the work performed by the department for customer satisfaction and accuracy, documenting and providing feedback and corrective action as needed.
- Accountable for the training of new staff and evaluating existing staff’s need for additional training.
- Responsible for understanding, implementing, and monitoring management’s objectives as it relates to the Provider Compensation Department.
- Resolves problems/discrepancies associated with systems and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Three years of prior experience in Healthcare finance/accounting.
- One year experience in leadership role leading or a position in provider compensation with lead experience/responsibilities.
- Experience in an integrated health system medical group, particularly in Provider Compensation
- Experience working with Cerner and HPP electronic medical and billing systems
- Experience with various data management
