High-volume Seattle General Contractor is seeking a Project Coordinator/Scheduler! McLeod Construction is a General Contractor servicing the homeowner association industry in the Puget Sound Region with work involving all aspects of condominium remediation (building envelope repair and replacement, emergency water mitigation and insurance repairs).

The role of project assistant at McLeod construction is a dynamic position that requires motivation and attention to detail. The PA works to support the management and field staff with a focus on scheduling and coordination. The administration of the Annual Maintenance Program also falls within the scope of the role. Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment is important for long-term success. Flexibility is essential.

Construction process knowledge is required.

Typical tasks include:

Responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:

• Scheduling: Update the weekly calendar to ensure that field staff have accurate information about upcoming and current projects.
• Communicate with clients, homeowners, and tenants regarding job schedules.
• Manage all incoming bid requests from multiple sources including internal stake holders. Assign requests as needed to the appropriate project management staff members.
• Fulfill requests from project management staff for ordering materials and equipment as needed.
• Answer questions for field staff regarding project schedule, access, and logistics.
• Assist with coordinating vehicle maintenance for up to 12 vans and trucks.
• Maintain working knowledge of company tools and materials.
• Administer the Annual Maintenance Agreement (AMA) program that consists of sending field technicians to a different property each day to perform preventative maintenance.
• On-call phone rotation for one week (approx. 2x/year)

Job requirements include:

• Must be familiar with the construction terms and practices.
• High level multi-tasking skills (tracking 10-20 jobs at various stages of progress)
• Skilled Microsoft Office Suite a must!
• Excellent written and oral communication
• The right attitude and experience. A willingness to jump in and do what is needed, and to respond to changing goals and priorities is essential.
