MCLEOD SOFTWARE is Hiring an Integration Support Specialist, Mobile Communications Near Birmingham, AL
Purpose of this Position: The Mobile Communications Support Specialist will provide technical (Tier 1 and Tier 2) support for Mobile Communications integrations and related modules. This includes working with the customer and integration vendor partners to coordinate resolution of reported issues.This role will also prepare Mobile Communication integrations and related modules for LoadMaster version upgrades and verify these are functioning properly after the upgrade is completed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist customers with identifying and resolving integration related software support issues relating to our Mobile Communications interfaces and other related modules
Work with our integration partners in troubleshooting reported issues from our mutual customers
Assist with creation and maintenance of internal and customer facing documentation
Provide timely communications to Customers as support requests are worked
Work with customers to obtain initial requirements for custom modifications and relay information to Business Analyst
Assist with testing modifications and demonstrating/training customers on use
Assist other McLeod staff and teams (Trainers, Sales Reps, Account Managers, etc) with questions related to functionality of Mobile Communication integrations
After hours and weekend work required for upgrades (as scheduled) and occasional after hours support
Competencies:
Knowledgeable in SQL
Ability to understand and communicate technical information, both verbal and written
Experience in a customer support/technical support role preferred
High degree critical thinking/problem-solving skills required
Time management and interpersonal skills required
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Excellent communication and organizational skills.
