The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with appropriate supervision. MAAA offers experienced attorneys an efficient and established infrastructure that allows them to focus on their legal practices and offers motivated young attorneys the opportunity to develop and hone their skills, to develop their writing techniques, and obtain trial and appellate experience. Base salaries and benefit packages are competitive and commensurate with experience. MAAA offers bonus programs which provide attorneys with the opportunity to significantly increase their compensation levels. Partnership and merger opportunities are also available for attorneys with an existing client base.

Qualifications:
- Must be Admitted to NYS Bar
- J.D. Degree
- Litigation Experience
- Strong writing, communication and advocacy skills.
- Manage own caseload and work collaboratively to develop litigation strategy
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions,
- Attend depositions and Court appearances
- Perform legal research
- Pay $110,000-$140,000 / yr
- Defined performance bonus structure

MAAA attorneys are always prepared to advance a litigation through the use of discovery and dispositive motions, and in the absence of a favorable settlement, pursue appropriate relief through the court at the trial and appellate levels.
MAAA attorneys are well versed in issues relating to claims and suits involving owners, tenants, contractors and subcontractors arising from construction accidents, the New York Labor Law, insurance coverage and indemnification, premises liability, dram shop liability, foreseeability, municipalities, immunity, notice requirements, trucking and automobile accidents, leasing agreements and serious injury thresholds, property damage, subrogation and the enforceability of waivers, employment and supervision, wage and hour, professional malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty, as well as claims and suits arising from commercial transactions, contracts, shareholder / membership agreements, derivative claims brought on behalf of business entities, and officer and director liability.
MAAA effectively assists clients in assessing each claim by promptly reporting all relevant information. In order to cost effectively protect clients’ interests, the attorneys of MAAA work closely with clients to strategically develop proactive litigation plans which often include alternative dispute resolution procedures such as arbitration and mediation.
