Job Description:

We are looking for a results-driven Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. You will be responsible for servicing our current clients as well as upselling /cross-selling on inbound calls.  We offer a competitive salary, commission structure, and ongoing training and support to help you succeed in this role. A 2-20 Personal Lines Insurance License is a must-have (A 4-40 Customer Service Insurance License at the minimum). Plus insurance coverage knowledge with an ability to communicate clearly to clients. The base salary for this position is $38,000 - $48,000 per year depending on experience. With added commission/bonuses may make up to $108,000 (experience, base pay, commission, bonuses).

Responsibilities


  • Increase overall value and retention by building loyalty and trust in the customer-business relationship.
  • Be available to address any questions or concerns and help them understand and navigate their insurance policies. 
  • Provide consistent and accurate communication.
  • Identify coverage gaps and customize policy recommendations
  • In everyday operations, use computer systems to process premium payments, review and update policies, handle claims, and make endorsements.
  • Maintain the information's confidentiality, integrity, and security, safeguarding the client’s privacy and the organization's reputation.

Requirements


  • Active Florida 2-20 Personal Lines Insurance License is Required. Will consider candidates with their Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License and will pay 100% for 2-20 licensing.
  • 1 years of insurance customer service experience. 
  • Basic computer software knowledge, plus experience with data entry, typing, and using a multi-line phone system.
  • Possessing the ability to work autonomously, arrange tasks according to their importance, and collaborate in a team-oriented setup.
  • Demonstrate professionalism over the phone, in writing, and in the office to create a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
