McNichols is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Tampa, FL
We have a great opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. This position will perform assigned duties within accounts receivable and provide support to accounts payable.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, financial concepts, and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with accounting procedures
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, and posting AR data
- Assist customers with questions and account resolution.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Manage A/R cash receipts entry and A/R credit card processing
- Batch control and balancing
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets and files
- Daily cash reconciliation
- Experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Excellent math skills with high attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication, customer service, and phone etiquette skills
