MCVP MCV Associated Physicians (DBA) is Hiring a Remote Business Analytics Manager- MCVP Business and Compensation- Days

We are seeking an experienced business professional who possesses a financial acumen and strong skills sourcing and organizing data. This team member will play a vital role supporting MCVP's Business Analytics and Compensation Department and will report onsite at One Capital Square at VCU's campus in downtown Richmond. The Business Analytics Manager manages the activities of the MCVP business analytics group. This job develops and maintains financial and productivity dashboards for use by MCVP administration and department administrators. This job manages support of MCVP Business Development, including development of financial pro formas for potential practice acquisitions and tracking of performance against finalized pro formas. This job oversees all data reporting regarding MCVP providers. This job also manages communications among network of analysts and associate administrators across all MCVP departments and serves as training resource for this network. Incumbent will directly report to the Director of Physician Compensation and Analytics, MCVP. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: N/A Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: N/A Experience REQUIRED: Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years of progressively more responsible experience in finance, accounting, human resources, payroll, or budgeting Previous staff management/supervision experience Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the healthcare industry Administrative and/or financial management work experience in an academic medical center and/or large Physician group practice Experience working directly with physicians and senior level administration Advanced experience working with spreadsheets, databases, and business intelligence tools Experience PREFERRED: Previous experience working with RBRVS reimbursement methodology Management and/or billing experience in physician practice setting that has helped incumbent develop understanding of clinical practices and operation Accounting experience in a healthcare organization Education/training REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources Management, Health Care Administration or other related field from an accredited program Education/training PREFERRED: Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resource Management, Health Care Administration or other related field from an accredited program Independent action(s) required: Position requires extensive analytical work, database management and report generation. Ensures data integrity and provides program direction and leadership and management of staff. Develop systems and processes that support strategic initiatives of MCVP. Develop financial and provider productivity dashboards, as well as financial pro formas. Meets with Directors, Administrators and Department Leaders frequently to provide information and serves as a resource for analytical needs of the departments. Develops and administers onboarding program and other training opportunities for analysts hired by MCVP Administration or other MCVP departments and promotes consistent definitions and reporting standards of metrics. High level of energy and sense of self-motivation. Ability to work and think independently, prioritizes multiple tasks, and offers resolutions to difficult situations. Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable): Manages assigned staff and is responsible for annual evaluations, leadership in designing the work, issuing assignments, holding staff accountable for results, meeting timelines, and ensuring overall compliance with policies and procedures. Additional position requirements: Flexible scheduling – incumbent may be required to work early/late hours or weekends. May also involve travel to attend conferences.
