The purpose of this position is to assist with implementing behavioral health research interventions.
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Research Intervention implementation Recruit, screen, and track participants. Conduct telephonic and in-person interviews and assessments with participants. Organize and prepare study materials.
Data Entry: Enter participant data in institutional databases and perform basic data management tasks. Extensive use of Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word and data collection software such as Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) is required.
Engagement: Interact and build relationships with professionals at MD Anderson, other health and medical facilities, academic institutions, and community-based organizations in the Houston metropolitan area, Harris county and surrounding counties as needed.

EDUCATION: Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE: Required: Two years of related experience. With preferred degree, no experience required.
Preferred: Experience in behavioral or social science research or in a scientific or health field. Familiarity with Windows and various computer software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, REDCap.
