MDB provides psychiatric and medical services to residents in long-term care facilities across Mississippi and Louisiana, and we have a very strong team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and therapists.
We have been providing services in long-term care settings for nearly 10 years, and we have a strong reputation among clinicians and long-term care facilities in both MS and LA.
We pride ourselves in two things: (1) providing holistic care for our patients, going above-and-beyond to help long-term care facilities offer the best possible care to their residents; and (2) being clinician owned and managed, we have an extremely low turnover rate. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner duties include providing psychotropic medication management to patients in long-term care facilities. Requires driving to one or more long-term care facilities in your area to provide services. This role will cover the Ruston, Shreveport and other outlying areas.
The hours are flexible but work is expected to be completed during regular working hours Monday - Friday, with no nights or weekends. Overall, this is a very low-stress position and is ideal for someone looking to work in an environment outside of a traditional clinic or hospital setting.
