Essential Functions:
  • Provide backup at demonstrated competency levels for Operations Support group functions including, but not limited to Scheduling, Purchasing, and Timekeeping.
  • Oversee Inventory control and Cycle count process.
  • Act as liaison between Scheduling and Production for Advanced Scheduler feature of UKG timekeeping system in Work Force Ready.
  • Learn associated Software systems (Financial, ERP/MRP, Payroll/Time) and be able to trouble shoot Operations Support issues within those systems effectively.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement programs using problem analysis and resolution skills.
  • Works independently, efficiently manages time, and uses experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Employ effective, respectful and persuasive spoken and written communication skills.
  • Ensure compliance with work instructions and/or Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to all current company policies.
  • Ensure effective employee relations.
  • Maintain highest levels of ethics and confidentiality.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others including wearing mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Functions effectively in a fast paced, diverse, team environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Three or more years related experience.
  • Advanced ability to operate basic computer equipment and peripherals as well as company standard software.
  • Advanced ability in use of Financial and HRIS software.
  • Able to effectively perform all basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.)
  • Ability to effectively read, interpret and communicate industry and customer specific documentation.
  • Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
  • Satisfactory completion of a drug screening test.
  • Verified eligibility for employment in the United States.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
Environment and Physical Demands:
  • A traditional work week (M-F) with MDI core hours. Work during Non-traditional hours periodically required.
  • Frequently works in a typical office setting which includes;
    • Frequently sit, use of computer monitor, mouse, and keyboard, standard telephone, hearing and talking.
    • Occasionally lift, reach, rotate hands, stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • Occasionally works in a typical factory environment (high noise levels, machinery, conveyors, dust, chemicals, odors and temperature fluctuations).
Other:
  • Some travel within the state and limited outside of state.
