MDVIP, based in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an Operations Specialist, Practice Development who provides departmental support for the Practice Development team with activities such as coordination and on-boarding, tracking efforts not limited to the Physician Mentor program and affiliate engagement activities, overseeing affiliate communications, and Affiliate Milestone program, while providing coordination and support to various functions within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Have a strong understanding of the Practice Development team's duties to provide onboarding support for new hires to the team as needed. ensure proper access to necessary systems and data.
  • Provide guidance to Practice Development Managers and assist in problem resolution.
  • Assist with the implementation and training on any new programs and systems put in place to assist the Practice Development team.
  • Work as liaison with marketing to assist with programs like Cvent to assist with doctor outreach.
  • Funnels/troubleshoots questions and concerns from Practice Development Managers, Affiliates, and Staff on various topics across all departments with a high level of customer service and sense of urgency. Follow up to ensure resolutions are implemented.
  • In collaboration with the Practice Development Manager, coordinates logistics for local affiliate, member, and consumer events. Provides research, venue recommendations and assistance securing contracts when appropriate
  • Provides administrative support to ensure an effective on-boarding process for new team members, ensuring all systems and tools are established and departmental meetings are scheduled. Organizes and schedules agenda and travel as assigned by Manager.

Education / Experience / Knowledge:

Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college and at least 1 year related business experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience where one-year related experience equals one year of schooling. Related experience assumes a similar corporate role focused on customer service, relationship building, marketing and strategy deployment. Prior healthcare industry experience preferred.

Must have excellent verbal and written skills, and ability to prioritize workload effectively.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and using hands/fingers for working on a computer.

  • To meet business needs, this position has the potential to periodically travel with overnight stays, by air or land, approximately 10% of the time

Corporate based roles: As a corporate based role in Boca Raton, FL, employees are expected to work from the corporate office unless deemed eligible for the company’s Work from Home program. This program has position, tenure, and performance requirements that must be met and receive management approval. The program provides for two days per week, unless adjusted to meet extenuating circumstances.

At no time may work be performed, or computer systems accessed, from outside of the U.S.
