The Biomedical Equipment Technician is responsible for the lifecycle of all the mdxhealth laboratory testing equipment including record and inventory management, calibration, and PM scheduling, interacting with equipment vendors to schedule service or update contract agreements, and maintaining the wireless temperature monitoring system. Responsible for the management and training of the laboratory equipment team. Works with Facilities and Operations Management to ensure all equipment is functioning to support the diagnostic laboratory.

• Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00am to 6:30pm
• Associate degree plus 3 to 5 years of experience in a diagnostic laboratory preferred, including equipment management experience.
• Biomedical Equipment Technician Certification, a plus.
• Must be knowledgeable of testing equipment, both automated and non-automated.
• Must be knowledgeable in equipment calibration and equipment repair.
• Hiring salary range: $25.50 to $28.00. The actual hourly rate will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
