We are ME Global Inc. We are headquartered in Minneapolis, MN and we operate two Foundry Plants in North America. One Foundry is in Tempe, AZ and the other is in Duluth, MN. We have been in business for over 100 years and have over 1000 team members operating in 5 different continents around the world. We produce metal castings for grinding media, mill liners, crushing liners, and slag pots with optimal designs and alloys specifically developed for the global mining, aggregate, and recycle industries. Our products are used in over 40 countries.

ABOUT THE ROLE . . .

The focus of this position is to support Tempe facility in optimizing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and improving quality in both our daily production results as well as our environmental compliance. The Industrial Project Engineering portion will focus on developing and implementing improvements to enhance productivity, analyzing production processes and identifying areas for improvement, and utilizing root cause analysis to troubleshoot manufacturing issues. The Environmental portion of this position exists to ensure we maintain environmental compliance with all rules, regulations, and permit reporting requirements. This position assists plant management and engineering departments with regulatory interactions, permit preparation, compliance issues, control technology design and implementation, and applicable regulatory awareness.

EXPERIENCE WE NEED FROM YOU . . .

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Engineering experience in manufacturing and/or the steel and iron foundry industry is a plus.
• Experience in environmental regulatory activities is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
